Andie Linn has been and still is my ultimate favourite instagramer! She has inspired me so much through out my time on instagram and it was an absolute privileged to have an interview with her. Andie's photos are like nothing you have ever seen before! The way she captures her photos are so creative and inspiring and her edits are just to die for, I just wanted to add all her photos onto this interview! I know that this is not the last time I will be having an interview with Andie and I hope that she will go far in her photography.

TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF

My name is actually Andrea Drye.. Andie is my nickname and Linn is my middle name. I am pretty short..I'm 5'3. In my dreams I would be living in mountains in an enchanted forest but also near a beach.. and I would own tons of baby animals in my forest and make forts and take pictures of it all! I could live solely off a nutella. I love sleep and I also really enjoy making clothing and I'll soon be opening a website!

WHEN DID YOU JOIN INSTAGRAM?

I got instagram when I first got my Iphone for Christmas in 2010.. I remember the first picture I posted was my mum sitting on the couch with her sunglasses on with a shirt on her head and I have no idea why haha!

HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET THE CHANCE TO POST ON INSTAGRAM?

I try and post on Instagram at least once a day.. maybe 2 or three if I feel like it.

HOW DO YOU FIND YOUR INSPIRATION?

I find my inspiration from movies, books, stories, nature, magazines and much more!

WHO ARE YOUR FAVOURITES INSTAGRAMERS?

Some of my favourites are @brittneypanda, @alexia_bambi, @charmaineolivia, @ryanolde, @kpalmtrees and @natcatwil.. BUT I really like who I'm following.. and I'm always looking for more people to follow.

HAS INSTAGRAM CHANGED YOUR LIFE?

It's made me want to go out and take more pictures for sure! It has also got me an incredible job offer. I finally got my dream camera so yeah, IG definitely changed my life.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE MOST?

I like to take pictures of things that I find interesting! I also do a lot of self portraits but I am my own muse I guess..I know what kind of emotion I'm wanting for the picture and whatnot.. I really love nature photos and I wish I could travel more to get a different scenery. 

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?

I'm not really sure..sometimes my photos are really "creepy" and I get called Samara a lot.. haha (thanks..) and then there's a fairytale side to my photos.. I have a mix..I guess I could just describe my style as just..andie i don't know haha!

DO YOU USE ANY EDITING SOFTWARES?

I used to use a program called toycamera analogcolor but I recently got lightroom and I love it!

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHO TO FOLLOW?

If they share the same photography style as me or if they are consistent.. not sure really. 

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER PHOTOGRAPHY SITES?

I Started a blog not recently where I would post recent photoshoots but I'm terrible about posting on blogs I make..I also have a flickr but I don't post much on their either..I think I'm going to start again soon though!

HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR LEISURE TIME?

I spend my leisure time taking pictures, making stuff, hanging out with my boyfriend, friends, family, I like to sleep a lot! As well Summer is coming up so I'll hopefully be spending it at a lake :)

HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE WHOLE PHOTOGRAPHY STAGE?

I had a few point and shoots that I'd take "cool" pictures back in the day..and then I got into the film stage.. I got my holga a couple of years ago and then that really got me into it more.. then moved onto my dads old Canon AE-1.. then finally back to Rebel.. and that's when my IG days came along.

HOW DO YOU WANT TO USE YOUR GIFT FOR PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE FUTURE?

I really love photograph and i also love fashion and I want to go into both fields. I plan to take my own pictures for a website I'm opening up soon which is going to be really fun, and hopefully really good for me :)

Even though Clara has 275 followers Clara's photos have brought a new feeling and sensation to photography and I believe that Clara needs a chance to express herself to the public, which is why I set up this interview. Not to give her publicity, but to allow her to give inspiration to others. 

TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF.

My name is Clara and I come from Indonesia. I'm sixteen years old and hope I will stay sixteen!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN ON INSTAGRAM?

I don't really remember the actual date, but I'm guessing around 6 months ago. 

HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET THE CHANCE TO POST ON INSTAGRAM?

I try and post photos at least once a day.

WHERE DO YOU FIND YOUR INSPIRATION?

I find my inspiration by instagramers and sometimes I Google to find inspiring images.

I love @Alexiabambi, @runaway, @maudemoiselle, @ryanoled and @gabrielleasaff.

HAS INSTAGAM CHANGED YOUR LIFE?

Definitely! It's made me so addicted to it!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE MOST?

Nothing specific, But I always try and make creative pictures.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?

Well I would have say that my style is really just based on me! haha

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHO TO FOLLOW?

I open their profile and if I keep double tapping their photos then they earn my follow! 

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR LEISURE TIME?

I'll try and expand my ideas and take new photos so I can share with my followers.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAY?

Copycating is not a crime unless you don't mention the author. Give some respect and appreciation.

HOW DID YOU FIRST GET INTO THE PHOTOGRAPHY STAGE?

I guess I just started taking pictures with my camera and then I got more addicted to taking amazing photos that express myself!

I hope I can inspire someone in the future like they inspire me.

Brittneypanda is one of my biggest inspirations and I was so grateful to have this interview with her. Not to mention that Brittney had the chance to meet one of instagrames biggest legends @savannnnnah! I love Brittney's photos, they are so defined and almost tells a story behind each and every one. TELL US SOME INTERSTING FACTS ABOUT YOURSELF.

My name is Brittney and I live in New Jersey. When I'm not at school, my favourite thing to do is drive around with my friends to random places in the middle of nowhere to take pictures. I also love chai tea lattes, hats, massive sweaters, kittens, reading, back tights, face paint and mushrooms. 

WHEN DID YOU FIRST JOIN INSTAGRAM?

I'm not sure the exact date since I deleted my older pictures, but I want to say sometime in the beginning of 2011.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET TO POST ON INSTAGRAM?

Just about every day!

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO TAKE PHOTOS?

A lot of times I'll be driving to or somewhere and see something amaaazing on the side of the road  and feel compelled to go back and shoot there.

WHO ARE YOU FAVOURITE INSTAGRAMERS?

Oh my gosh, SO MANY, @Savannnnnah, @Andielinn, @Mattfrench and of course @kittylix and @allyjandra (there my partners in crime.) I'm pretty much obsessed with everyone I follow.

HAS INSTAGRAM CHANGED YOUR LIFE?

Yes of course! In so many ways. It's rad because instead of laying around on a random Tuesday Afternoon, I'll be motivated to grab a friend and drive out to a random field and take photos while making some of the best memories. I've also made so many new friends! Just this past weekend I had the chance to spend a day with @savannnnnah and climb 20 foot high scaffolds in the middle of Times Sqaure!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE MOST?

Definitely people in cool places.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?

Most of my photos seem to have a earthy tone. They're usually outdoors. I spend an abnormal amount of time in the woods!

DO YOU USE ANY EDITING SOFT WARES?

Yes! My favorite is a free program called toy camera analog colour. I'd be lost without it.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHO TO FOLLOW?

I only follow people with feeds I love.

I started following Jordan about October last year and ever since then I have really been inspired by her photos. The way she captures her photos really makes you reflect on them. I was very excited to be interviewing Jordan and I know there will be another interview again in the future. 

TELL US SOME INTERESTING THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF

My names Jordan minder, I'm 16 years old and I live in Illinois (in the US) which is basically all farmland (I live on an old farm) I am an aspiring photographer. I see art in everything and I can't imagine my life without it! Oh, and I love cats.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN ON INSTAGRAM?

since early June of 2011, I believe. maybe later, maybe.. I don't know haha!

HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET TO POST ON INSTAGRAM?

EVERY DAY! It hurts if I don't post OR don't have anything to post.

HOW ARE YOU INSPIRED TO TAKE YOUR PHOTOS?

I ALWAYS have ideas in my head. Always. These build up and morph into super ideas haha. But I'm just inspired by everything around me, music, movies, literature, nature, people, anything! I can't pinpoint what exactly inspires me, but I like it that way!

WHO ARE YOU FAVORITE INSTAGRAMMERS?

Oh my. I have so many! I'll give you five, In no exact order.

1. @savannnnnah. I love this girl. She was one of the first 'major' ig'ers I followed. Her pictures SWAY me. And we're the same age, so I feel like I can relate to her just by her posts. She recently started following me, so I feel obligated to take awesome picture to try and impress her haha!

2. @barnel02. Oh I love him! He is such a SWEETHEART! And his pictures are phenomenal! So clear and so creative.

3. @rycar. I love him to death! I started following him when he has less then 100, I was instantly in love with his photographs. He and his brothers and so so so talented. JEALOUS. Also, he is the funniest thing ever. hahah I'm associating my favourites with personalty's more then pictures.

4. @Mathildaxx. SHE IS GORGEOUS! And takes stunning self portraits. She is also a sweetie.

5. @mattfrench. wow wow wow wow.. stunning all around! He can take a picture of dirt and make it into a master piece! I would kill do to a collab. Just kidding but that would be awesome.

I'd include so many more but these are just off the stop of my head.

HAS INSTAGRAM CHANGED YOUR LIFE?

oh my goodness, YES! I would not have discovered my passion for photography. I would not have met so many talented, wonderful friends just from my phone! I get a lot of attention at school and so many people ask me to take their pictures and even offer to pay! Nothing makes me happier then taking pictures. I was a lazy little couch potato before instagram. I would not be where I am (wherever I am I guess) If it wasn't for Ig. eeek I love my followers, they make me smile!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE MOST?

Well, me I guess, haha! It's not out of vanity, I promise. When I get an idea I'm usually the only person I can rely on to carry out what I envisioned. I also see new sides of me with each photograph I take. Generally, I just love shooting people! Mostly of my gorgeous friends. I'm working on nature shots, I'm not the best but I'm working on it!

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?

Hmmm.. Whimsical maybe? I don't know! I have a different "style" or "theme" for each shoot! I've always been a sucker for surrealism, So I try to create images that one couldn't see with their eyes. Just their imagination if that makes sense.  

DO YOU USE EDITING SITES?

I use Adobe Photoshop elements 10. My dad brought it for me for Christmas.. still getting used to it! I used to only use iphone apps but no anymore.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHO TO FOLLOW?

I'm not sure actually. If their photo's make me go "wow".. I need to try that! then yep that's how they get my follow.

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER PHOTOGRAPHY SITES?

Noo.. I have flickr! But I never go on it.. Oh I have a Photobucket account but nothing fancy is on there. I mostly post onto facebook for friends and family who don't have instagram to see.

HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE WHOLE PHOTOGRAPHY STAGE?

My parents bought me my first dslr camera when I was 13 (a Nikon d40) and I used it a little bit but I didn't even pick it up until last summer! I wanted a new profile picture so I just went out and took some self portraits. Instagram helped me discover how passionate I was about it as well.

HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR LEISURE TIME?

Taking pictures... hehe..taking walks, watching criminal minds, driving to Starbucks, napping, cuddling with my cats, usually one or two above per leisure time... haha!

HOW DO YOU WANT TO USE YOUR GIFT IN THE FUTURE?

Well for now I'm a very shy and reserved person who can be hard to read. I hope my pictures can speak what I'm feeling, or display exactly who I am. In the future, In the future I don't want to do it just to make me happy, I want to make other people happy with it. Have you ever looked at a photograph that made you smile and a rush of memories came at you all at once? I want to do that to people. I want to create images that still stay forever in time that people can look at and feel pure joy.

'Don't believe the things you tell yourself so late at night, you are your own worst enemy.'

Alexia is a huge icon for myself and her followers. The way she captures her images are truly magnificent. She has inspired me and 26834 other people with her instagram and I am very grateful to be able to interview her. As well as a photographer, Alexia is also a model and has a modeled for many magazines. She really is my role model.

TELL US SOME INTERESTING THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF.

Well I don't know what you'd consider interesting, but I'm basically just your average senior student, in love with the world and photographing the beauty I see. My style is quite simple, I like to keep things pretty and natural. I have been modeling on the side, freelance, which is a great experience from the other side of the lens! My Italian greyhound, Lillie, is the love of my life and I like to spend my spare time with relaxing and calm things, music, and candles never fail to comfort me.

I've been on instagram since the start of March 2011, on my first account -@AlexiaBambi- and I have recently made a new one (Alexia_bambi) only about a month ago

I love the satisfaction of showing you guys my world and how I see it. It keeps me determined and always wanting to seek more. My main inspiration comes from other photographers, whether it be on instagram, blogs or magazines. I'm always looking and learning from others.

WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE INSTAGRAMERS?

Favorite instagramers, basically all those I follow! But to name a few; @emilieristevski, @barnel02, @gabrielleassaf, @andielinn, @raquelmishel, @brradjack and of course the boy who brought IG to my attenion - @mattshrip.

HAS INSTAGRAM CHANGED YOUR LIFE?

Wow. I think instagram has made a humongous impact on my life, it has opened up my eyes by the way I see the world and the ways I capture it. I never knew photography would become such a part of my existence, as it has now become.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?

I like to keep the style of my photos clean, light and simple. Colours are an important part of setting the mood of the photo and my main aim is to create a whimsical sense

DO YOU USE ANY EDITING SOFT WARES?

The majority of my editing is by instagram, otherwise I use Photoshop cs5 (but I'm still teaching myself how to master it) or the apps PicFx, Blendcam and PicFrame.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE MOST?

My favorite things to capture is nature, things I love and human form.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHO TO FOLLOW?

I follow people who appeal to the style of photography that inspires me.

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER PHOTOGRAPHY MEDIA SITES?

I don't have any other photography sites! I have been thinking of using Flickr, but apart from that, I use Tumblr on a rare occasion. I have yet to find something as amazing as instagram!

HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR LEISURE TIME?

My leisure time is usually spent in any relaxing way possible, as I said before, candles and incense. But music is a big part of my life. I guess it's another form from which I seek inspiration. Otherwise I'll be out taking photos, or enjoying the company of my beautiful friends and family.

HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE WHOLE PHOTOGRAPHY STAGE?

The whole photography stage began around mid 2010, from which I saved all my money to buy a camera of my dreams, and managed to by it by the end of the year. It was the best money I have ever spent it on! Beautiful photo's inspire me and make me feel intrigued. It's like candy to the eyes. But instagram my true passions involved, I have never enjoyed life more.

HOW DO YOU WANT TO USE YOUR GIFT IN THE FUTURE?

Although photography is not my aimed career path, I think I will always involve it in my daily life, as a hobby. I find it's something that lets me escape to another world almost, beyond reality.

'I take photographs because I am tired of what reality looks like'

This was a huge amazement to me when I found out that Julia (also known as @runaway) was interested in having an interview with me! At the age of only 15, Julia has hit top marks for her photography skills on instagram and has managed to make her pictures been seen. Shes such a huge inspiration to me and I would love to have another interview with her again in the future.

TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF.

Okay well my names Julia and i'm a 15 year old girl from Stockholm. I love strawberries and I drink smoothies with two straws! When I'm older, I wish to travel the world.

WHEN DID YOU JOIN INSTAGRAM?

I posted my first ever picture on May 19th.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU POST ON INSTAGRAM?

I try and at least post more than once a day.

HOW DO YOU FIND YOUR INSPIRATION?

Music and nature, light. I like to be in the forest and I often get my ideas for photo shoots there.

Kind of, it has defiantly made me a better photographer.

Things that inspire me :) I like to think that 'I paint with light' when I photograph. So I use light as a big factor in my photographs.

Magic fairy tales and a strong desire to runaway.

I was fascinated by it all, and a lot of my friends had cameras so I bought one out of my Christmas money.

When I found out that Tarrah was intrested in having an interview for the blog I was so excited! I have always been so inspired by her photos and It was incredible to talk to her! Tarrah has to be one of the most gorgeous photographer I have seen on Instagram with such a creative mind. TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF

My names Tarrah Bright and I live in Oklahoma! I was originally born In Florida and my favorite season of the year would most defiantly have to be summer. I used to be a vegetarian for 5 years but this year I've gone back to meat.

WHEN DID YOU JOIN INSTAGRAM?

I joined in about October time 2 years ago.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET THE CHANCE TO POST ON INSTAGRAM?

I post about 2-3 times a week.

HOW DO YOU GET YOUR INSPIRATION?

My inspiration comes from people I follow on Instagram. I see something cool that they've done and I branch out on those ideas. Also, a majority of my inspiration comes from song lyrics and books. Whatever emotion I feel, I try portray that into my pictures.

WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE INSTAGRAMERS?

My favorite instagramers would have to be @davidcameron, @tothesea, @lewlew15, @three_little_birds, @hankferguson, @hello_mello and @photoloverr. Gosh I could go on!

HAS INSTAGRAM CHANGED YOUR LIFE? 

Well I started instagram as just a fun deal, posting crappy photos of my cats and such. But then I started getting followers and I thought to myself, "Hey, maybe I should show my talents through this app!" I freaked out when I had 100 followers and started gaining more! Instagram has connected me with amazing photographers and friends.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE MOST?

I like taking pictures of things in my back yard and front yard. There's not much to take pictures around here, but when you find details in nature it's awesome!

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?

I don't think I really have a style in photography. If I do, I wouldn't know how to explain it.

DO YOU USE ANY EDITING SITES/APPS?

I don't edit my pictures a lot, but when I do I mainly use PicFrame.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHO TO FOLLOW?

I'll randomly click on a users comment that they have left on my pictures and If I like their photography on their page, then I'll follow them. I don't follow people who are follower obsessed (where they only care about how many followers they have). Or if you post grainy pictures of your bleeding thumb, I probably wont follow you.

HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR LEISURE TIME?

In my free time I like to draw and paint, or just play on my phone.

HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE WHOLE PHOTOGRAPHY STAGE?

My grandma bought my first digtial camera when I was 12 and I was addicted to it! My love for photography basically shot off from there.

HOW DO YOU WANT TO USE YOUR GIFT FOR PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE FUTURE?

I might do some photography as a side job to bring in some cash.
