Amelia Howison (also known as @ameliahowison) seemed to impress me when I saw her photo's on Instagram. Her pictures were so gentle with colours and warm with passion! I fell in love with her Pictures Instantly! I had fun interviewing Amelia and I'm pretty sure that this is not the last time we will see her.

TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF.

My name is Amelia and I live in the Scottish Country-side where I take most of my photo's. I love wildlife and I always end up taking photos of a small pond which is overshadowed by a beautiful tree. I wish to travel the world when I'm older.

WHEN DID YOU JOIN INSTAGRAM?

Not long! Just the begining of February.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET THE CHANCE TO POST ON INSTAGRAM?

I go out and take pictures while the suns out (which isn't often in Scotland) and then upload them about three or four at a time after time. As often as I can really.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO TAKE YOUR PHOTOS?

I like photography books, but the majority of my inspiration defiantly comes from instagramers. 

WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE INSTAGRAMERS?

I think there are many talented people on Instagram! @Trashband is incredible! I also really like @mattfrench, @r3mus, @alexia_bambi and @namidacross. 

HAS INSTAGRAM CHANGED YOUR LIFE? 

I go out a lot to take pictures for others to see. I had never really shown my pictures before. The more I go out, the more I appreciate where I live. 

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO TAKE PHOTO'S OF THE MOST?

Tree's! Haha I love them!

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?

I'm not sure if I have a style...but I prefer my photo's to be light and soft rather then dark and dramatic.

DO YOU USE EDITING SITES?

No i don't

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHO TO FOLLOW?

I often look at instagramers I like, follow and check out their photos. Or sometimes I look on the popular page and If i come across a photo I like, I'll look at the persons other stuff.

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER PHOTOGRAPHY SITES?

No not for photography but I have a youtube account because I like to make films.

HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE WHOLE PHOTOGRAPHY STAGE?

A couple of years ago I came across my dads Vintage Olympus which I fell in love with. I eventually saved up for DSLR.

HOW DO YOU WANT TO USE YOUR GIFT TO TAKE PHOTOS IN THE FUTURE?

I want to travel to rural and undisturbed parts across the globe. Maybe even get people from urbanized areas to appreciate nature more, who knows?
